Creche Workers

We are looking to recruit new creche workers to specifically run our creche, to enable mothers to attend our women’s groups.

We currently run approximately 10 women’s groups per year and the days of the week vary so successful candidates would be contacted on an ad hoc basis.

Applicants must have:

  • Experience working with children
  • Good communication skills
  • Great activity ideas
  • Good understanding of supporting children's individual needs
  • Up to date Disclosure Barring Service check
  • Insurance

The job involves:

  • Ensuring the overall safety and well-being of the children, providing a caring, stimulating environment for the children
  • Ensuring a high standard of hygiene on the premises
  • Keeping parents up to date on their child’s progress
  • Ensuring that rooms are prepared and set out in readiness for the day
  • Providing and taking part in all activities
  • To work independently and solely provide care and learning opportunities to 2-3 children at any one time
  • Keeping strictly confidential any personal information regarding the children, their families or others
  • Ensuring all policies are adhered to
  • Undertaking relevant training where necessary
