Dancing competition

Prizes

1st prize ( judged ) – Nintendo Switch Lite Bundle – in choice of colour- with Animal Crossing, Mario Kart and Case

3 x £50 Entertainer vouchers drawn at random for all those who took part

The competition

Get your kids up off the couch during lockdown and start bopping to support our nursing team... and win some prizes!

We've set up a competition to encourage children to bop and dance to mark the amazing efforts of nurses, carers, clinical teams and doctors across the country and in Sussex.

All you need to do is:

      • Film and share a video of your child or children dancing together or on their own (you can also dance as a family!)
      • Share the video publicly and tag in one of our Bopforthebeacon social media channels (Facebook, Twitter) and include #bopforthebeacon

Terms and Conditions:

The competition is open to all UK residents who follow the set entry rules:

    • Film and share a video of their child/children dancing either individually or as part of a family
    • Share the video publicly and tag in one of our Bopforthebeacon social media channels (Facebook, Twitter) and include #bopforthebeacon

The main prize will be judged independently by David Hill (E3 Events) out of all the entries submitted within 14 days of the closing date.

Winners of the 3 x £50 Entertainer vouchers will be selected at random from all entries submitted within 14 days of the closing date.

All entries must be received by the closing date of Sunday 14th June 2020

By entering into the competition all entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions.

The competition is not open to children of employees of the Sussex Beacon.

The Sussex Beacon reserves the right to change or withdraw this competition without notice.

Winners will be notified via social media and prizes must be claimed within 14 working days.

The supplier may change the prize offered without warning.

There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable. No part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.

The Sussex Beacon's decision in regards to prizes is final – no correspondence will be entered into.

We will endeavour to contact the prize winning child and parent or guardian in advance of publicising their name.

By entering into the competition parents or guardians accept that their submitted video may be used in future communication materials by the Sussex Beacon. Parents, guardians and children may opt out at any time.

The Sussex Beacon will not collect or store personal data from children without their parent or guardian's consent. Consent is opt out via submission of materials and may be opted out of at any point by child, parent or guardian.

We will ensure that no personally identifying information (surnames, addresses etc) will be included in marketing materials as far as it is practically possible, in line with the GDPR.

We will never ask for more information than we require to proceed with the competition, prize drawing and private communication with involved parties.
