Anxiety Management Service

Anxiety is a normal and natural bodily response to a stressful situation. Everyone experiences anxiety, which usually passes quickly. However, sometimes life events can cause us to experience higher levels of anxiety that can impact on our lives.

The anxiety management service offers 1-2-1 psychological support with our team of Psychological Practitioners. The service is for anyone that is experiencing on-going anxiety that is impacting on their everyday life. The service helps people identify the causes of their anxiety and offers different ways to help you cope, manage and reduce the anxiety symptoms.

You will be offered an initial assessment and then a number of sessions where you will learn strategies and ways to manage your anxiety.

Benefits

• Learning solutions to manage anxiety symptoms.
• A reduction in anxiety levels.

Sleep service

Most people will experience sleep problems at some point in their life. Usually, most sleep problems will pass on their own in a few days or weeks but if a sleep problem lasts for longer than 4 – 6 weeks it can become more problematic.

If you have been experiencing on-going sleep difficulties for 4 – 6 weeks or longer then our outpatient sleep service may be able to help you.

We offer an initial assessment to help both you and us understand the cause of the sleep problem. We will explore and develop solutions, with you, to help improve your sleep. You will be asked to keep a sleep diary, which we provide, and we will look at setting a sleep routine that works for you.
