HR Assistant *VACANCY*
We are looking for a capable HR assistant to join our team of committed staff. The Sussex Beacon employs a flexible workforce of around 60 staff. The staff are the backbone of our work, supporting vulnerable people in the communities of Sussex.
The HR Assistant will be some one with experience, who can communicate effectively. They will need to be able to manage their own workload. They will work with senior staff on training and development programmes.
The Sussex Beacon is working toward being a centre of excellence and being a learning organisation is central to that aim.
This is an important role in an essential charity. The post holder will be committed to working with people living with HIV to improve their lives.
The Sussex Beacon provides a contributory pension, 27 days annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays) and the ability to work flexibly.

18.5 hrs per week
Salary: £22-24,000 pro rate (dependent on experience)

Work with managers to recruit staff. Taking responsibility for:
− placing job advertisements
− Ensuring that a recruitment pack is prepared for the role
− Handling applications
− Assisting with shortlisting as required
− Managing interviews – timing and invitations
− Sending job offers
− Taking up pre-employment checks, including references, DBS and proof of right to work.
