The Greater Brighton Cycle Challenge has something for all ages and abilities! Take on a challenge to raise vital funds for The Sussex Beacon to support people living with HIV.
Around the World Cycle Challenge
Family friendly cycle challenge at the country’s oldest cycling track, Preston Park Velodrome. The aim of the challenge is to reach the combined target of 66,792 laps (40,075km) – the circumference of the world. Turn up when you would like to join in the fun and take to the track for as many or few laps as can be managed.
Date: 19th May 2019
Entry: Adult £15, Children/Concessions £5, Family Tickets £25
Start time: Arrive any time between 8am – 5pm
Raise as much as you can, with no minimum fundraising commitment. You could ask your sponsors to make a donation for every lap you complete! Set up a JustGiving page or use Sponsorship forms to send around your office, school, family or friends.
Cycle a 60 mile route around the South Downs, starting and finishing in Preston Park. Riders will experience the beauty of the chalk cliffs, river valleys and the glorious South Downs landscape.
Entry: £25 (£30 on the day)
Start time: 8am

Devil’s Dyke Loop
This 30 mile route heads out into the Downs on the Dyke trail, taking in the spectacular views of Devil’s Dyke before joining the Classic ride near Woodmanscote.
Entry: £20 (£25 on the day)
Start time: 9am
