The Executive Director of the Sussex Beacon, Bill has worked in the voluntary sector since 1980. He came to this role after spending several years as a freelancer, working to turn around small and medium sized voluntary organisations.
Bill has held Chief Executive roles at organisations dealing with drug/alcohol dependency, homelessness, substance misuse, learning difficulties and mental ill health, helping to grow and improve services and improving the charities’ financial outlook.
Bill says of the Sussex Beacon: “ I am very proud to work for this essential organisation. The Beacon is a unique resource for people living with HIV and a charity with a great future. The staff team here is second to none. A talented, committed group who make the Beacon an excellent provider of healthcare and support services.”
Bill holds a degree in Psychology from City University. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a Chartered Director.
