Local charity The Sussex Beacon is recruiting for two new roles, a Community Fundraiser and a Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator. The two part-time roles are an excellent opportunity to join the dedicated team at The Sussex Beacon and make a real difference to its work, helping people living with HIV across Sussex.
Over the last year and during a difficult period for the charity financially, the two roles were empty and a partial recruitment freeze was in place. However, The Sussex Beacon is now in a position to recruit again and hopes to increase both its fundraising and profile locally.
Simon Dowe, Chief Executive of The Sussex Beacon said “It feels great to be in a position where we can look to the future and recruit for key roles like these. We’re hoping to find two proactive, enthusiastic individuals who will fit seamlessly into our team. As well as being a fantastic opportunity career wise, we’re a friendly bunch, all passionate about what we’re doing, so it’s a brilliant place to work.”
