The Sussex Beacon has links with many different groups, teams and clubs within the community who aid us by fundraising, raising awareness and supporting our events, such as The Vitality Brighton Half Marathon.
If you’re a member of a group, team or club, and you would like to support The Sussex Beacon, please contact us.
Fundraise/raise awareness in the community
Many of our supporting groups use their visibility within the community to fundraise for us; this can be done by holding cake sales, entering a team into one of our challenge events, creating your own challenge event, or in many other innovative ways. Every year we have an increasing number of runners sign up to run the Vitality Brighton Half Marathon as a part of Team Beacon, who commit to raising £150. This helps us to continue our services which promote independence and improve health and wellbeing for people living with HIV.
How we can help
We have a dedicated team in our Marketing and Fundraising department who can help you to create, monitor and properly publicise your group event. Alongside this, we have branded resources that can be used to guide your fundraising journey and a dedicated ‘supporting The Sussex Beacon’ logo that can be used on any marketing materials that you produce for your event.
Receive recognition for your fundraising
Everyone who fundraises for us will receive email updates every time money they’ve raised is counted; if required we can provide you with a more formal recognition of your fundraising efforts and we are happy to be involved in your efforts to publicise these.
