Quality and governance
We aim to provide a high standard of care by ensuring that the organisation is well led and that the services we provide are safe, effective and a good experience for all our patients and clients.
Over the last few years we have developed our governance model to demonstrate effective organisational leadership, strong financial management and develop patient safety and risk management processes.
How do we do this?
Quality and safety are at the heart of everything we do and because of this we have implemented an integrated governance model across the organisations. This model includes:
• Incident reporting process and procedures
• Risk registers
• Policies and procedures
• Audit programmes
• Training for staff
• Patient and client feedback systems
• Quality and Governance Committee that meets every six weeks
• Finance and Audit Committee
• Quality and Governance reports and Finance reports at Board of Trustee meetings
• Service user representative meetings

Who we are regulated by
We are registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Charity Commission, and the Information Commissioners Office. We are also an organisational member of the Institute of Fundraising. These organisations set clear legal requirements and standards that we follow to ensure that the organisation is well managed, shows strong leadership and provides safe and effective care.

To ensure that our clinical care is of a high standard and reflects best practice we work to the British HIV Association standards and guidelines.
