Support the Beacon - join the Beacon Runners

For the last fifteen years the Sussex Beacon has been providing vital services for people with HIV who stay in our residential unit or use our community services. The nature of HIV has changed over the years, so the Beacon has adapted to meet these changes.

Until the day comes when a cure is found for HIV or a vaccine can help it occuring, then the Beacon has a job to do. Our clients needs vary from residential care, to recovery from a hospital or adaption to new medication.

The challenges facing people living with HIV are enormous - we help with all this and more.

Put simply we believe the Beacon saves lives, and without our services, many people may have died.

Our fundraising target for the 2008 Half Marathon is £120,000. You can help us reach that target by raising sponsorship for the race - every penny is important - as an added incentive there will be a very special prize for the runner who raises the highest amount of sponsorship for the Sussex Beacon.
