Welcome to the Garden Gadabout 2008

For the 12th year, generous volunteers in Brighton & Hove, and beyond, opened their gardens to the general public as part of the Sussex Beacon's annual Garden Gadabout.

We can now confirm the final total raised from this year's Garden Gadabout held during July.

From 43 gardens the total raised through £1 entry fee, sale of home-made cakes, lunches, deserts, plants, vegetables, art (not forgetting the hours of hard work by the garden owners and their friends) was £16,529.56.

The total per trail is as follows:

Kemptown £5,366.79
Montpelier £2,978.84
Round Hill £1,25571
Peacehaven £499.00
Rottingdean £642.05
Seaford £963.00
Hove £657.00
Fiveways £2,358.44
Queens Park & Hanover £1,422.63

Thank you to you all who wandered the Gadabout this year, and especially the garden owners for their fabulous support.
