Visiting Hours
Most of our gardens are open on Sundays 12th and 19th July from 11am – 5pm. However
some are only open on one day and the actual hours may vary. Check each garden entry to
be doubly sure when your chosen garden is open to visitors.
Trails
As we have over seventy gardens involved in this year’s event we have grouped them into
Trails so you can visit several in one day. As you can see from the map above our Trails are
spread from Shoreham in the west to Seaford in the east and as far inland as Lewes.
Refreshments
Most of our gardens offer refreshments, from just hot and cold drinks to delicious homemade
cakes to sumptuous lunches - you’ll even find Sri Lankan curry being served at one. Check
each garden entry for details.
Accessibility
Some of the gardens are wheelchair accessible while others have small steps or tight spaces.
Some, however, cannot offer easy disabled access. Check each garden entry for accessibility
advice.
Getting Around
Many of our Trails are walkable and some very close to each other, for example Fiveways to
Roundhill and Prestonville to Montpelier. We would recommend getting around on foot where
possible. This year we have included bus information next to each Trail map to make it
easier to use public transport. To plan your route in real time visit www.journeyon.co.uk
