Monks House is the former home of Leonard and Virginia Woolf. The garden is planted and maintained by tenants on behalf of the National Trust and has borders, an orchard, ponds, a large vegetable allotment and several magnificent trees. Above all it has the most wonderful atmosphere. The writing lodge where Virginia Woolf wrote many of her novels will be open.
Disabled access (bumpy ground) via a side gate. Please ask on arrival. Please note the house will not be open. |
