Although large, the garden at Navigation Cottages (Grade II listed) belies this because it is made up of five different sections, each one leading into the next. It has some distinctive shrubs, some old fashioned roses and a vegetable garden at the back. It could be described as ‘overhanging’ rather than neat, which gives it its cottage garden look.
