Helping the Sussex Beacon
The Sussex Beacon has to raise around 40% of our income through our fundraising. We need you to help us do this - there are loads of fun and exciting ways to do this.

Although there have been changes in the management to the Sussex Beacon all the money raised comes directly to the Sussex Beacon.  There has been increasing pressure from statutory funding cuts over the last couple of years have ensured that HIV charities such as the Sussex Beacon are now working harder and harder to survive - we need your help!

Walk for Life

Annual 10km sponsored walk raising funds for those affected by HIV and AIDS in the UK and Africa, organised by Crusaid.  It is an opportunity to raise funds for the Sussex Beacon, perhaps in memory of a loved one.  There is no registration fee.

Starting and finishing in Potters Fields Park, near London's Tower Bridge, and will take in some of the capital's most famous landmarks - Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, St Paul's Cathedral to name but a few!

Artists Open House Appeal

Last year 5 houses that had opened in the Artists Open House event in May joined us in July and sold their work, donating 20% of takings to the charity.

Of course lots of supporters have their own fantastic ideas, such as Greg Moore performed a Christmas Flower arranging evening, we also have a team of runners who brave the Flora London Marathon.

Local companies support us by holding cake days or mufty days, talent auctions and raffles - every penny counts!
