Salary – Beacon Grade 3

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Client Support Worker at The Sussex Beacon to provide full-time cover for maternity leave, for a minimum of six months.

You will be responsible for providing physical, social and psychological support to clients on our ten-bedded Inpatient Unit. You will provide support to the registered nurses by checking the administration of controlled drugs, monitoring and recording systemic observations, emergency intervention and all aspects of client care. You will also participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for clients.

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ level 2 education or equivalent, excellent team working and communication skills and the ability to plan and balance priorities.    A flexible approach and a commitment to delivering a high-quality service are also key requirements. Specialist HIV/mental health experience will be an advantage.
